Update and Redirect A fair amount has happened since my last update, too much to post here really, but a few things need to be highlighted. Omni Systems My company Omni Systems is now my main focus, it has now evolved into a small production/development company. Dyson for example, although developed by myself and Alex, will be made available Omni to services like Steam. Other projetcs like Neopolis and Spire are also underway. Dyson Speaking of Dyson, the game is progressing well, and the feedback and downloads we are getting is phenomenal. Go to www.dyson-game.com for more updates on this :-) Book I finished my Book. Yes, after 2 1/2 years I finally delivered the final manuscript to A.K. Peters Publishing, and the book should be available later this year. HURRAH Site Updates This site is not very up to date anymore, I may just keep it as an archive, and start a proper blog, linked to from this site. • This site has now migrated to my own hosting and it will be easier to update the content from now on. Considering the 2 year gap since my last update that is quite good. :-) A few things have happened in the period since some quite important. For one thing I have finished a bunch of games since the last update, moved to a newly bought house near the cost and am working on a new game. See the design page for updated links and inclusion of work on Avatar the last Airbender and on Championship Manager. I have also started to write a book on level design to be published by A.K. Peters publishing, which is progressing nicely. I am about 2 thirds through the work I reckon. Finally, last but not least, I have taken the corporate bull by the horns, looked it sternly in the eyes, and chased off. In stead I have teamed up with my good friend David Busuttil from Gorilla Entertainment who is an excellent filmproducer, and decided to start our own company called Omni-Labs which will operate as a media production company. Our first project is a freetoplay MMO with a seriously interesting twist, which will be revealed in due time :-) Some absolutely fantastical people have already conditionally agreed to become part of the dev team when Dave and me have aquired the funding, a process already in full swing. :-) Keep your eyes on this space! |

• After loads of interviews at different companies I have started my new job as Level Lead at Electronic Arts in Chertsey. I will be working on the new Harry Potter game "Goblet of Fire" It is rather nice to be working on a game that so many kids are looking forward to. |
